Quiet night for Mike Dyer who, for whatever reason, was called upon only 13 times in the biggest game of the year. Auburn’s rushing leader netted 48 yards in a frustrating Iron Bowl. Still, he moved a bit closer to Stacy Danley.

No word on if Danley, now the athletic director at Alabama State, will keep alive the torch-passing tradition of being on hand for the bowl game, just in case.

Your opening sentence completely describes my feelings about our offense right now. What a circus. Looks like a Big & Rich video. Get 5 the ball and block for him. If we’re beating Samford by 3 scores in the 4th and he’s already carried it 25 times, let’s let Mason run a little. And can somebody please tell me how long I was asleep to wake up and find out that 125 lb Ontario “where’s the sideline” McCalebb was now our featured SEC quality back? The wheels are off the bus Gus.
