Even though Auburn alum (strict, dictionary definition) Paul McDonald didn’t win Season 10 of American Idol, it looks like he’s going to be staying in Hollywood a while.
The Cam Newton of “Cougar” Croonin‘ married girlfriend and “Twilight” star Nikki Reed, 23, over the weekend in Malibu. The two started dating in April and announced their engagement in June.
The 27-year-old McDonald is the frontman for Auburn-born roots rockers The Grand Magnolia (formerly High Tide Blues). The Nashville-based band was one of several acts to play the wedding reception.
