War Eagle Man

It’s entirely possible that this is just a picture of Spirit doing some sort of marionette act taken at an Auburn Club function in the late 70s. But the Auburn Alumni Association — or at least @AUAlumniAssoc — is convinced it is, in fact, a man, and is asking for help in identifying him.

To our shame, we can’t provide a name, only another picture of the bad ass, taken in the same suit approximately 10 years later.

Doubt we’ll find that suit on eBay — as J.M. said, surely he was buried in it.

Did you see something AUsome? Weird? Today? Whenever? Take a picture of it? Know someone who did?

Send it to us at photos@thewareaglereader.com.

I am a lesser fan. I stand in awe of this mysterious uber-fan and his wonderful suit. I hope and pray that he wore it to church, business functions and other gatherings.
