Here’s Quint Coach extraordinaire Ralph Shug Lefty Jordan in the Dec. 14, 1935 issue of the Plainsman, before he made, as Adolph Rupp called it, “the worst mistake he’d ever make.”

(We know it and throw it out in trivia contests and stuff, but it’s still so double-takey when you see it.)
