The bronze statues of Auburn’s Three Heismen have all been delivered to their permanent home outside the east entrance of Jordan-Hare Stadium. And the installation could be going in chronological, Heisman-winning order. Yesterday? Seemed like Sullivan. But the contours of the last statue to get the full blue tarp treatment today seem very… Blessed. (But who knows? Bo knows.)
The statues will be covered and kept under 24-hour police guard until they’re unveiled Saturday before Auburn’s A-Day game.
For fans of Iron Bowl irony, it appears that an Alabama fan may have been a part of the statue installation work crew.

On Friday the bust of John Heisman was installed.

Probably an Atlanta Braves fan. Don’t they use the same clip art CD for their logos?
Somebody’s gotta drive the forklift!
Elvis, you can tell it’s an Alabama sticker b/c it’s the Braves “A” with a front mullet.
The supervisor of the crew better keep a close eye on that bammer.
any idea when the ugly blue tiger stripe things will come down?
Hey Aubies, that Bammer is the Foreman. Otherwise you would never get these narcissistic pieces of metal up. He was more than happy to help you figure out how to do it. RTR
I still say he’s the forklift driver. His last name may be Foreman, but I doubt he is the foreman.
The blue stripes were added on (hopefully not permanently) and appeared to be metal today. Weren’t they just sheets of fabric last year?
