Take a good, hard look at the motha’truckin’ bus… because it might be your last…
Yes, sadly, it looks as though the Tiger Prowler (one of our first POTD) has fallen on hard times… specifically a desolate gravel parking lot way on down Wire Road, an area so remote – at least for a bus apparently so complex – mechanics have to be solicited via shoe polish-scrawled “Help!” signs (can you help? know someone who can?). It’s a shame. It seemed awesome, if not not entirely road-worthy — we first photographed the great vessel being serviced at Auburn Tire.
Did you see something AUsome? Weird? Today? Whenever? Take a picture of it? Screen cap it? Know someone who did?
Send it to us at photos@thewareaglereader.com.

The bus belongs to one of my good friends (by virtue of the original owner basically abandoning it). It has indeed fallen on hard times. If anyone knows of a good mechanic that could fix it, holla.
Maybe the Supper Club could take it. It would be a sweet upgrade for the Shot Bus!
hey I am the owner of the bus and I am in need of a mechanic, no one of the shops in auburn will even touch it they say its too old and no one can find parts for it. However it does not need any parts it just needs adjusting.
The problem:
There is a linkage between an air actuated cylinder and the transmission, it is connected to a lever that shifts it from neutral, to drive and to reverse. When one of the air tanks filled with water the linkage quit working so I (stupidly) removed and cleaned it not knowing that nothing was wrong with it but that all we had to do is drain the DAMN tank! I am still bitter about this. Anyways if you know of ANYONE that would be interested in working on it or knows someone that is willing to work on it let me know. My number is 256 684 0138
And I did not abandon it. Why take it to Atlanta? better have it here in Auburn
I am also a friend fellow partier of Garber and Can’t remember when we first had trouble with it but it was okay for a few weeks, then nothing. I have searched for the parts needed and have had no luck. I am a mechanic but not very knowledgable on these buses. More than a mechanic the parts are needed so if anyone has one of these buses sitting in a junk yard let us know
UPDATE!! the guys at interstate truck and trailer will be at the bus on friday to fix the bus it may just be seen tailgating again
Awesome, man — let us know how it goes.
Go Prowler!
