Coach doesn’t remember a lot about it. Was it his first year or his second? Coach doesn’t remember a lot of things. But to be fair, his recollecting kept getting interrupted. He was out in the country with some folks on a supposedly controlled burn when I got him on the phone.

Auburn will begin a home-and-home series with USC at the Galen Center on Dec. 18, 2022… 50 years and three days from the schools’ first meeting. USC won 73-66 on Dec. 15, 1972 in Los Angeles at the Trojan Invitational. You can watch some of it here.
