Auburn ruins LSU’s corn dog party

First half of last night’s basketball game:

But as the game ended:

The atmosphere in Baton Rouge wasn’t exactly intimidating last night. There were plenty of empty seats and a muted crowd in the first half of the game.

But our Auburn Tigers picked up a nifty little road win against LSU, 84-80. It is Auburn’s first SEC victory and kept them out of the SEC West cellar. Whew!

Both teams met each other with a 0-3 record in the SEC standings. Our Tigers improved to 2-3 on the road for the season (losses were to Missouri State, Florida State and Tennessee).

What can I say about DeWayne Reed? In the second half at about the 13 minute mark, with Auburn down 7 points, Reed hit two 3-pointers in a little under 6 seconds to pull Auburn within 1 point. It was clutch!
