The Three Heismen won’t be the only former Auburn football greats honored A-Day weekend.
Former All-American defensive back Carlos Rogers and Bill Cody, a star linebacker for Auburn in the 1960s, will be inducted into the Tiger Trail during a ceremony at Auburn Arena on Friday, April 13… you know, the Tiger Trail, the granite diamonds of distinction lining the sidewalks downtown.
You’ll also soon have to avoid stepping on commemorative plaques for All-American golfer Ricky Smallridge (1979-81), women’s golf standout Marci Clemons (1996 SEC Player of the Year), and 1980s basketball greats Frank Ford (pal of the Reverend Horton Heat) and Gerald White, who still holds Auburn’s career (624) and season (221) assists records.
You can find more details on the induction ceremony here.
