1973 was a disappointing year (6-6).
But that never stopped us from beating Ole Miss* (14-7). Or from lookin’ good.

I certainly remember lusting after and even trying to get a date with the long haired brunette in pics 5 and 6. Susan Mitchell or somethinglikethat. Never happened. Believe me, she was a lot prettier in color. I had forgotten we played our games in BxW back then. Seem to recall that the goofy looking guy in the last 2 pics was sort of a “joke” on campus-Jerry sumpinorother. Everyone thought he was AU’s first non-hetero male. Hope he’s not watching or married to anyone’s sister on here.
J. Boggs,
Pictures 5 and 6 are Judy McKissick from Montgomery
Why am I lusting after a woman (Miss 5&6) old enough to be my mother.
No wonder she wouldn’t go out w/me, I didn’t know her name. There were about 3-4 “babes” on the squad during those years-she certainly qualifies.

Dang JBoggs, Harsh dude.
That was my first Auburn game, I believe they also renamed the stadium after Shug from Cliff Hare stadium to the present, Jordan-Hare.
Also, I pulled for Ole Miss that day as I was a naive HS sophmore. Little did I know I would attend Auburn in 3 years. By the way, I pulled against UAT too.
I LOOKED ON HERE AND THE FIRST PICTURE ON HERE WAS MY MOTHER, HOW COOL
Judy McK is now Judy Hooper, mother of Davis Hooper.
1976 was a horrible year for Auburn football (3-8) but we got up early to drive to Oxford and watch the game and turn around and drive back. Auburn won, 10-0 that day. Just sayin’.
Judy McK is now Judy Hooper, mother of Perry and Davis, who played fb at AU, and Thomas who played at S Carolina.
