I know they’re trying to do something positive (new life from the ashes, and all), but there is ZERO infrastructure in Haiti now so there’s no way to distribute t-shirts. Haitans need medical care, water, and basic necessities. And besides, even if I’m a Haitian and not in a position to be particularly selective at the moment, I don’t know how thrilled I’d be about receiving anything solicited as follows: “DON’T BURN IT, SEND IT TO HAITI!!” Generally speaking, things destined for imminent incineration are not appropriate for gifting (at least that’s the rule I try and live by for Christmas and birthdays). Finally, there’s just something inappropriate about sending anything bearing Kiffin’s name to people in such dire straights. It’s insult to injury.

Call it a Freudian slip. In the video, she says “we’re going to send the [Kiffen]shirts down to Hades” . . . to help out with the rescue effort.. I’m sure if all the Vol nation could, shirts would go to Haiti, Kiffen would go to Hades.
If you listen to the end she says “We’re gonna send food, water — and the Lane Kiffin shirts brought in — down there.”
So, I mean, it seems to me like she’s already a part of some sort of group that’s going to send some stuff down there. And now she’s just gonna throw the shirts in the box too. So I mean, it’s just kind of a “might as well” thing. It’s worth the 30 seconds of YouTube. I mean Haiti can’t get enough stuff right?
