UPDATE: Jeff Steele, Auburn’s Associate AD for Facilities and Operations, tells us that curious looking thing at midcarpet is simply an incomplete interlocking “AU.”
“It’ll be identical to what we have at midfield in Jordan-Hare Stadium,” Steele said.
