VIDEO: Cam speaks at the Heisman Banquet, Bo takes off his belt (and tells Newton he throws like a girl)

Studs.

People were retweeting reports of the back-and-forth banter between Bo Jackson and Cam Newton at Monday night’s Heisman dinner like they were trying to win a contest:

“Also at Heisman banquet tonight, Bo to Cam: “You throw like a girl.” Cam to Bo: “You run like a girl.”

What they failed to mention – probably because not even 140,000 characters could capture such a mind-blowing scene – was Bo taking off his belt after Cam told his audience “from a young age, to me, I always wanted to be better than Bo Jackson.”

There’s also no way a tweet could capture camerawoman Nicole Klein’s awesome laugh.

UPDATE: And the reports were accurate. Bo shouts at Newton “you throw like a girl”, even as Cam is thanking him. Brilliant.

Never thought I would live long enough to say that there was a better football player than Bo. Or that if it did happen he would be so good I’d have to admit it.

I still bet Bo could whup his ass even being 46 years old & having a fake hip.

I loved hearing Bo tell Cam “take your time, take a few deep breaths” when Cam was starting to break down a bit at the beginning of his speech. It definitely makes me proud to have two people like Bo and Cam associated with Auburn University.

Excellent job by Cam. Very mature and eloquent with a touch of humor; and I love hearing him say “War Eagle”. The chemistry that he and Bo have is outstanding – don’t we all wish we could joke around with the likes of Mr. Bo……I see a very bright future for an incredible athlete who is extremely handsome and likeable. Thank God he’s one of ours!! It’s great to be an Auburn Tiger!

The Heisman Band should’ve used the AUMB instead
