As cool as that is (and it’s really cool!), the band formation was wrong (no interlocking AU), the stadium architecture was wrong (or at least the tunnel), there were no huge flags and no Aubie. I guess I shouldn’t expect EA Sports to get ridiculously detailed with each school, but I should expect it for mine, right?

Has anyone else noticed that auburn’s fight song has never been correct?! This drives me crazy!

    Names on the jerseys WHAT?!?!

    (a download?)

I think the song thing has to do with that old lady who owns the rights and refuses to sell them to Auburn. My understanding is that we’re only allowed to play the real song under certain conditions (sporting events, etc) but it’s not allowed in merchandise (dancing Aubie robots, NCAA games, etc), so they modify it enough to get around copyright laws.

The game has “Tiger Rag” playing for all the fight song sequences, because of what Luke says…. sigh. One day, you old lady..one day..

Also, that is the default band formation for all pregames that aren’t unique enough like Ohio State…or so says EA.

@AuburnJunky, the names are a download. Google how to do it. Very easy.

Wow! I never knew that bit of information! Very interesting. Needless to say, it really chaps my ass! …oh well

You can upload MP3′s into a playlist on the hard drive and set them to play when certain events occur. This allows me to have the first down cheer for first downs, “War Eagle” for TDs and FGs, “Ironman”, “O Fortuna”, and “Crazy Train” for big defensive plays…oh and “Livin on a Prayer” for the beginning of the 4th quarter.

No, I wasn’t in the band, I just own several band CDs. It’s a perfect way to get amped up during august.
