Last week, we were certain that, instead of just another generic pre-season jingle, we could find a ditty or two specifically ragging Mississippi State.
Well, we found four — all preambles to Auburn victories, and, again, all produced and sung by the prolific Smilin’ Jack Smollon. (And good Lord, the lyrics!: “No foolin’ around, the TDs will abound, as the Auburn Tigers eradicate Mississippi State.”)

It’s a special week of course and Smilin’ (and fightin’) Jack won’t let you down. Let’s just say the man was prolific when it came to the Iron Bowl. Of course, we’re saving some of his doo-wah ditty-ditties for next year (and the year after). So stick around and we’ll make it worth your while. Eventually.
