This week we find out that Rachel Klein, a strapping Keystone State kilo killer whose been taking names as a high school powerlifter for a few years, will be adding a little a lot of muscle to Dudley Hall come fall.
The North American Powerlifting Federation’s bench press title? Third place at the 2019 USA Powerlifting High School Nationals? Yep, both hers.
“It (powerlifting) is just a unique way to express your strength,” Rachel told WYOU. “Because in other sports you’re, like, running or catching, and I’m not good at either of those things, so powerlifting kind of gave me the opportunity to have a different type of sport that I was successful at.”
