Yes, despite ringing in 2020 with a big Lilly Pulitzer job, a Daily Mail post on her perfect skin, and Maxim describing her as a “dreamy mix of beauty and brains” in the magazine’s final What a Beautiful Woman Wants profile of the decade, Gilda Joelle Osborn’s modelling bookings have been few and far since February or so. Pandemics will do that.
Thankfully, you can’t keep a good Girl Next Door down for long.

… the 2013 Auburn grad was recently cast as the object of good ol’ boy desire in the video for “Only Truck in Town,” the new single from Tyler Farr of “Whiskey in My Water” and “A Guy Walks Into a Bar” fame.
The music video — her first — was shot on a farm just outside of Nashville.
“I found out the night before the shoot that I booked the job. I think it was all so last minute because they had to figure out the best way to shoot it while following social distancing precautions,” she says. “The producer told me I wouldn’t be shooting any scenes with Tyler Farr, and that I would be paired with one videographer the entire time. But it definitely tops the charts of one of the most fun experiences of my career. Video is my favorite.”
The Anniston native moved to New York City late last year, but has been riding out the pandemic in Birmingham. She plans to return to the Big Apple in August.
