First we learned that Bama’s ticket office couldn’t spell Mississippi. Then we learned that the Tuscaloosa News couldn’t spell Mississippi.
Now it seems The Crimson White, the University of Alabama’s student newspaper, is having a hard time with Tuscaloosa.
It’s not as egregious as misspelling a word that has its own spell-me-right rhyme, but we’re still at a loss for correctly spelled words.

Back when I was head copy editor of the Crimson White, we could at least spell the name of the city 🙂
No wonder the Crimson & White is free – you get what you pay for! 🙂
Thanks for the shout out. However, as you’ll soon learn, the source of this photo is someone you know very well …
(On Twitter, I don’t credit finds on Facebook to protect others’ privacy.)
this is still the greatest thing they’ve ever done:

You might want to use its/it’s correctly if you’re going to criticize in such a manner.
That’s okay… At least the word they misspelled had more than 5 letters…

And what do you find wrong with “it’s” in this Joe? It is is appropriate, no?
Nothing says “roll tide” any better. lol… unless it is a Bama alum/fan sexually assaulting a passed out LSU fan, or a dog or small horse…. or poisoning landmark trees… or booing an Auburn football player at an FCA breakfast.
