Today’s floor statement from Representative Spencer Bachus about the resolution congratulating Heisman Trophy winner Cam Newton.
Bachus, an Auburn graduate, also mentions the Iron Bowl, calling the rivalry “a wonderful, intense, and enjoyable competition” driven by “a competitive spirit, but also a spirit of friendship.”
