Auburn players played both ways back in the day. And in the 1994 game. The defense was responsible for every score except a field goal in Auburn’s 20-26 win over LSU. The Tigers got one first down in the second half and scored 27 points. It was insane. It was AU-Dacity (explained here).
Auburn defenders carried the team on their back all the way to the hospital, at least some of them. Did pre-beet dudes normally have to go the hospital for dehydration after the game? I don’t know. Still seemed like a post-worthy footnote.
