Celebrate old traditions with the help of modern amenities… at the new Toomer’s Corner.
Yep, you can now recharge your cellphone after draining all your battery with post-rolling victory selfies. AC and USB charging outlets have been placed along the back of the seat walls found around the perimeter of the Toomer’s Corner entrance to campus.
“We’re trying to make it an attractive area to study and just hang out,” said Mike Clardy, Director of AU’s Office of Communications and Marketing.
Other new, attractive things: The last line of the Auburn Creed is etched into new walkway.
