Auburn student Caleb Hyles’ insane cover of ‘Let It Go’ from Disney’s ‘Frozen’ goes viral

UPDATE: Watch an interview with Caleb about the popularity of his cover of Let It Go here.

And hey, speaking of Frozen… Idina who? I mean, seriously. And you know—maybe that’s why Disney apparently blocked the video for playback on most mobile devices (and in Korea?)… they’re afraid people are going to prefer Caleb Hyles’ version of Let It Go.

But even handicapped by jealous corporations, Auburn senior’s glass-shattering cover of the the Oscar-nominated song from the Frozen soundtrack has racked up nearly half a million views on YouTube in less than a week.

Don’t worry, Idina… I’m sure he’d do a duet with you. Oh look, someone’s already arranged it. (Dude’s cover is so popular, IT has fan videos.)

I think the debate on who should perform the song at the Oscars has been settled.

Can’t wait for the metal version, Caleb.

She's got a great accent, and those great stories aren't just WWII stories—they're Auburn stories. And because she's super-cute.
