I don’t know — did they? Pretty bad aim if he was. But maybe that’s why he’s a center.
That reminds me of the 1987 Florida game when we dominated the Gators from start to finish–Fourth Quarter, Florida has to punt from their own end zone after their last-chance drive goes three and out, and the ENTIRE Florida section (all sitting in that whole end zone) starts throwing cups and paper plates and any other trash they had AT THEIR OWN TEAM. Mom, Dad, and I (in the upper deck) looked on in disbelief. I wondered myself if I actually saw it until I saw it on the tape.
