As Pat Dye might say (except he wouldn’t), if it doesn’t say Auburn Oaks on the little brown tag, believe me, you don’t want it…

The Toomer’s Oaks have been souvenir-bound for more than a year. And though we still don’t know exactly what the items available for purchase will be, we now know how to tell if they’re real.

Just look for the tag.

And the name.

Due to licensing issues, merchandise made from the wood of the Toomer’s Oaks will be branded as official “Auburn Oaks” items, the proceeds from which will go entirely toward student scholarships.

Related: Woodturned item made from Toomer’s Oaks will be on permanent display in Auburn art museum.
