The 1974 Auburn Tigers were a good football team. They ended the season with a Gator Bowl victory over Texas and with just two losses – to Florida and Alabama.

I ran into Secdrick McIntyre one time during a Spring Jamboree game. They no longer have those in Montgomery, anyway, I looked like that fly that had first landed on the fresh pile of cow manure, way more than I could handle by myself.
At the time I was 5’6″ and 115 ponds. He was a frieght train! I played defensive end, and he never knew I was there.
