Brooks Brothers ties, skimpy Forever 21 tank tops — Our winning streak is over, but our romp through the catalogs of America’s hip haberdasheries and boutiques has apparently only just begun.
The latest example: An Auburn University-inspired TOMS shoe, one of seven designs included in the goody two-shoes of shoe companies’ new Campus Classics line.
Here’s a statement about the collection from a TOMS rep posted on CampusFashion.Net:
From TOMS’ early beginnings, students have been some of our most loyal fans. TOMS would not be where it is today without the passion and drive from these young fans. They are passionate for more than just TOMS however, sharing the same passion for their alma mater. TOMS created the Campus Classics with their prominent display of school colors, to capture the magic of all that stems from school spirit, rooting for the home team, the diehard rivalries, and singing of the fight song.
Thankfully, TOMS is familiar enough with our ‘diehard rivalries’ not to cross the streams.
And, as is their custom, for each ($48) pair sold, the company will donate a pair of shoes to a child in need.

Not exactly sure how those are Auburn-inspired since there is no navy involved.
TOMS is a great company with a fantastic mission. As a fan, I’m proud that they chose to include Auburn in the launch of this line.
looks more like VOL orange and no navy…no point in referencing the school if you aren’t going to really rep the colors. Those wisconsin shoes may as well be UGA without the black…
looks like clemson
WORSE than Clemson … egad, man, that TENNESSEE, hack-spit
