T-Zac didn’t have time to get down to it, but maybe he should have. ‘Cause it seems like it was kind of awesome.

I LOVE my University.
And these kids do too. Does my heart good to hear em chanting outside-
“It’s GREAT to be an Auburn Tiger!!” I’m proud of them.
I’d even love to be the guy in the headless bear costume that gets dropped on his head at 1:20 of the 3rd video.
And I’m willing to bet there was no mean spirited vandalism, and no cop cars turned over outside. Try that at Wisconsin, or West Virginia. or Berkeley, or Boulder.
All those folks that aren’t Auburn Tigers – you just don’t know.

I guess I’m too old to know what a “Flashmob Rave” is. Not a clue.
But as long as the kids are having fun, the college doesn’t have a problem with it, and no harm is done, sounds cool to me.

These flashmobs are scary to me. Guess I’m old school at 33, but when you have kids things change. Looks like the one here was harmless, but we had one in memphis at the zoo when it was spring break and it broke into a huge fight with shots fired and several people going to the hospital. For Tiger &, basically a flashmob is formed when a random person or small group decides to form the flashmob and sets the place, date, and time. then they spread the message via twitter and facebook and I think email and text and pretty much all other forms of digital media. as i understand it if it is a popular idea it spreads like wildfire and when the flashmob shows up the police or security onsite are immediately overwhelmed. RBD for example. If a group of 10 people showed up and started getting loud, the library employees would call campus police and escort them out. When a few thousand people show up at once all the security and employees could do was shrug their shoulders and join the group!
