Honk if you ruptured Brodie’s spleen

If you’ve ever wanted to indulge your football fantasies beyond the handicapping morality of the Auburn Creed –  as a child, I convinced myself that the lyrics to “Crimson and Clover” were literally describing the gratuitously bloody scene of an Auburn Iron Bowl victory so I could enjoy the song without guilt – please to enjoy this ambiguously-uniformed montage of the unclean sports possible inside Blitz: The League II, an insane Madden-meets-Mortal Kombat X-Box game (you have to be 18 to even enter the web site), which, apparently, exists.

It’s almost as intense as that apocalyptic 2006 pre-game video with the Tiger marching through a Toomer’s Corner engulfed in flames… and really kind of screwed up. I’ve got this overwhelming urge to sing “Hard Fighting Soldier.”
