On the other hand the excuse for Bama's performance against AU dismissed a couple of key items...most importantly, AU got the ball first and whacked Bama in the mouth, twice, before they knew what hit them....which fired up the Tigers and put the Tide on their heels for most of the game. Fla's offense on the other hand had to sit on the sidelines and watch the Tide drive down the field twice in the first quarter and that was that for Tebow and pals....and a couple of dropped passes when the game was still competitive did not help either.
