I'd have to think if Ziemba was going anywhere we'd have heard something by now. And I'm on AE's side on this one--Ziemba was never flagged for holding this year and despite his occasional issues with blitz pickup, was still probably our best player in pass protection. Especially with the lack of depth behind him, we desperately need him to stay.

I love Ziemba. Wasn't there a TWER article that mentioned that he only false-started like, 4 or 5 times this year? That's gotta be fewer than Todd delayed a game or broke huddle with too many men.

If Ziemba goes, do we cheer? Maybe he was better on the false starts this year, but I recall watching ends run circles around him in the Iron Bowl. Clutch he is not.

Any guess where Bart Eddins is expecting to play? If Ziemba doesn't leave for the draft, we'll have 4 returning starters by my count. That would make the Right Tackle spot the only one open. Do you think he could play there, even though he's an interior lineman? Unfortunately for Bart, I don't see him playing much next year either.

For all the grief Chizik took about 5-19, it's probably also worth at least a mention that the players he brought in to and left behind at ISU (fraught with tension as their parting may have been) have also dramatically improved this year. It's quite possibly more impressive to get the pieces in place there than at Auburn. Don't know how much credit for the improvement should go to the new coach and how much to the old, but they're certainly using Chizik's guys to get it.
