One man’s opinion as to why we “won” the 7-5 bowlpocalypse? We have a flashy offense. TV and bowl people LOVE flashy offense. If this was the standard Tubby slobberknocker, we’d be going to Shreveport.

I’ll take Northwestern or Wisconsin, but a victory over JoePa and Penn State would be a recruiting season showcase win. Go Cornhuskers! I only caught them playing Mizzou this year, but that defense is stout. Here’s to ruining yet another Heisman Trophy candidate’s dream season.

Eh, John Clay’s worth the price of admission. That dude is a load.

I’d rather play Northwestern or Penn St., sure. But I don’t feel like we have any room to complain when the opponent could have so easily been Rutgers in Legion Field, East Carolina in Memphis, etc.
