Ratliff
Jay Ratliff: an “oasis of consistency in a giant muddle of confusion and stupidity."

Quarterbacks:
Jason Campbell #17, had an efficient day going 17/23 for 145 and 1 TD in another frustrating loss for Redskin fans in the 20-17 loss to the Panthers.  Coach Jim Zorn is catching a lot of flack and deservedly: if your QB is 6th in the league in pass efficiency but your offense is struggling as badly as Washington’s, something doesn’t make sense.  Some are saying Zorn won’t let Campbell throw downfield, but his average yards per attempt ranks 16th.  So what exactly is going on in Washington?  For starters, the offensive line is terrible and getting worse. The Redskins could not run play action Sunday because Campbell didn’t have time to turn around before he was hit.  They have a tackle playing guard and a guard playing tackle and their best lineman, Chris Samuels, is going to miss the next game.
For the season Jason is completing 66.7% (6th) of his passes for 1108 yards (13th), 6 TDs (14th), 5INTs (6th) with a QB rating of 88.5 (16th) and has run the ball 18 times for 89 yards and has lost 2 fumbles.

Running Backs:
Ronnie Brown #23, scored the game winning touchdown as the orange-jersied Dolphins won a great game Monday night against the Jets 31-27.  Ronnie finished the night with 74 yards and 2 TDs, 3 receptions for 14 yards and completed one pass for 21 yards.
Brown has started every game for the Dolphins and has carried 93 times for a 443 (5th) yards a 4.8 yard avg. and 6 TDs (2nd).  He has also caught 9 passes for 64 yards and is 1/2 passing for 14 yards.
Heath Evans #44, didn’t play Sunday.  The Saints have a big game against the Giants this weekend in a battle of unbeaten teams.
For the season Heath has those 3 carries for 12 yards and 7 catches for 62 yds and 2 TDs.
Tony Richardson #49, did not record a stat in the Jet’s 31-27 loss on Monday night.
He has 2 carries for 9 yards in 4 starts this year.
Carnell Williams #24 was shut down this week with 10 carries for only 8 yards and 3 catches for another 8 yards in the 33-14 loss to the Eagles.
Carnell has started 4 of the 5 games this season and has 199 yards on 48 attempts averaging 4.1 yards a carry and has 1 TD.  He has also caught 15 balls for 89 yards, a 5.9 yd avg, and has 1 receiving TD.
Brandon Jacobs #27, has been frustrated by his play this year despite the Giants 5-0 start and their 44-7 win over the Raiders Sunday.  Jacobs carried the ball 21 times for only 67 yards and no TDs. Ge also caught a ball for 8 yards.
Jacobs has only scored one TD all year and has 355 yards on 100 attempts for a 3.7 yard avg. He’s caught 4 passes for 21 yards this year.
Tre Smith #32 is on the IR with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats
Tristan Davis #43 is on the Detroit Lions practice squad

Prechae Rodriguez #85, did not record a stat in the Hamilton Tiger Cats 38-28 loss to Winnipeg
Rodriquez is 2nd on the team with 45 catches for 495 yards and 3 TDs for the season.

Offensive Lineman:
Ben Grubbs #66, started in Baltimore’s 17-14 loss to the Bengals.
Grubbs has started every game this year for the 3-2 Ravens
Marcus McNeill #73, the Chargers were off this week.
Marcus has started all 4 games this year for San Diego
King Dunlap #65, is 2nd string LT and RT for Philadelphia.
Tyronne Green #69, is 2nd string RG for the San Diego Chargers.
Kendall Simmons #71, is injured and inactive for the Patriots with an Achilles injury he suffered last season with the Steelers.
Tim Duckworth #75, is on the Saint’s practice squad.

Defensive Lineman:
Jay Ratliff #90, is an “oasis of consistency in a giant muddle of confusion and stupidity.” Don’t believe me? The Cowboys needed overtime to beat the winless Chiefs 26-20 on Sunday.  Jay had 4 tackles in the game.
Jay has 11 tackles and one sack from his nose tackle spot this year.
Quentin Groves #54 missed the team plane because he got in a 3 car accident on his way to the airport for the Jaguars 41-0 loss to the Seahawks.  Quentin did get on a commercial jet and made it to Seattle for the game, but did not record a stat in very limited duty.
Quentin has 9 tackles and a forced fumble on the season.
Spencer Johnson #91, had 2 tackles in the Bill’s 6-3 loss to the Cleveland Browns.
Spencer is 2nd team but has played in every game this year and has 15 tackles.
Pat Sims #90, started his second game of the season and had 5 tackles in Cincinnati’s 17-14 win over the Ravens.  Coach Marvin Lewis wants Sims to practice harder, but admits he is producing on Sunday’s.
On the season Pat has started 2 games and has 15 tackles and 1 sack.
Sen’Derrick Marks #94, played briefly in the Titan’s 31-9 loss to the Colts Sunday, but did not record a stat.
For the season Marks has played in 2 games and has 1 tackle playing 3rd team for Tennessee.
Stanley McClover #75, is on the IR for the Houston Texans
Marquies Gunn was picked up by the Hamilton Tiger Cats.

Linebackers:
Karlos Dansby #58, recorded 7 tackles in Arizona’s 28-21 win over the Texans.  Karlos has been productive, but hasn’t made a lot of noise this year.
Karlos has 28 tackles (1st on team) and half a sack with 1 pass deflection.
Will Herring #54, started his 4th game of the season and had 1 tackle against the Jaguars in the Seahawk’s dominant 41-0 win.
Will has 15 tackles, and 1 pass deflection.
Takeo Spikes #51, had 6 tackles in the 49er’s embarrassing loss to the Falcons in San Francisco, 45-10.
Takeo has started every game and has 25 tackles and a sack on the year.
Reggie Torbor #53, had 2 tackles in the 31-27 Monday night win over the Jets
Playing mainly on special teams and spot 2nd team duty Reggie has played in every game and has 7 tackles.
Tray Blackmon #30 is on IR for the Calgary Stampeders

Cornerbacks:
Carlos Rogers #22, had 2 tackles in the 20-17 loss to the Panthers, but had a lot to say after the game:

“It not only starts with the players and coaches, it starts with the ownership.  They bring everybody in and they’ve got last say-so of everything, so that’s where it starts, I guess.  We’ve got a lot of things we need to iron out, a lot of problems.  It’s from personnel to coaches to whatever it is-there’s a lot of things we need to iron out, and until we address those issues and turn it around, we’re going to be the same, going up and down. ” Odd for a player to call out an owner and GM, but what could be done in the short term? “You can’t do too much right now, you just have to go with what you’ve got and make the best of it, and that’s what we’re doing.”

Carlos has started every game for Washington and has 11 tackles and 7 pass deflections (7th)
Jonathan Wilhite #24, had 2 tackles in the Pat’s 20-17 loss to the Broncos.  Wilhite did not start this week.
Jonathan has started 2 games and played in 4 this season for the Patriots, he has 14 tackles and 1 pass deflection.
Jerraud Powers #25 had 6 tackles and a pass deflection in the Colt’s 31-9 win over the disappointing Titans in the 4th start for the rookie corner.
Powers has started 4 games this season and has 22 tackles and has 3 pass deflections.
Kevin Hobbs #23, did not play in the Lion’s 28-20 loss to the Steelers.
For the season Hobbs’ has 1 start and 6 tackles.
Pat Lee #22, is on IR with the Green Bay Packers
Rod Hood was signed by the Tennessee Titans.

Duval is the #1 kicker in Canada with 43/43 PATs and 37/45 on Field Goals.  Damon is also the #1 Punter (among starters) with a 45.6 yard season average.
