Carlos Rogers poses with a disgruntled Redskins fan. The drama in D.C. continues as owner Dan Snyder recently stripped HC Jim Zorn of his play calling duties.

Jason Campbell #17, was benched at halftime in the Redskins’ 14-6 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.  He was replaced by Todd Collins who was also ineffective.  Redskins owner Dan Snyder has stripped Head Coach Jim Zorn of his play calling duties and Washington is reporting that Campbell will start on Monday night against the Eagles.
For the season Jason is completing 65.6%(8th) of his passes for 1197 yards (17th), 6 TDs, 6 INTs with a QB rating of 84.3 and has run the ball 20 times for 95 yards and has lost 2 fumbles.

Running Backs:
Ronnie Brown #23, did not play this week. The Dolphins were off.
Brown has started every game for the Dolphins and has carried 93 times for 443 (8th) yards a 4.8 yard avg. and 6 TDs (3rd), he has also caught 9 passes for 64 yards and is 1/2 passing for 14 yards.
Heath Evans #44, was one of 7 players to score a touchdown for the Saints in the 48-27 win over the Giants.  Heath had one carry for 2 yards and a TD and also caught a pass for 5 yards.  This week the Saints travel to Miami, a homecoming for Evans.
For the season Heath has those 4 carries for 14 yards and 8 catches for 67 yds and 2 TDs.
Tony Richardson #49, had a 3-yard carry in the Jets overtime loss to the Bills, 16-13.
Tony has 3 carries for 12 yards in 5 starts this year.
Carnell Williams #24 had 77 yards on 18 carries for the Bucs in their 28-21 loss to the Panthers.  Cadillac has looked good this year, performing well on a bad team.  The Bucs spent a lot of money in the offseason on Derrick Ward but Carnell has so far kept the free agent off the field.
Carnell has started 5 games this season and has 276 yards on 64 attempts averaging 4.3 yards a carry and has 2 TDs.  He has also caught 15 balls for 89 yards, 5.9 yd avg, and 1 receiving TD.
Brandon Jacobs #27, hurt his knee in the Giants’ 48-27 loss to the Saints, but carried 7 times for 33 yards and had one catch for 2 yards despite talking a little trash.
Jacobs has only scored one TD all year and has 388 yards on 107 attempts, a 3.6 yard avg. and has caught 5 passes for 23 yards this year.  He should start for New York this weekend despite his injury.
Tre Smith #32 is on the IR with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats

Marcus has started all 4 games this year for San Diego
King Dunlap #65, was thrust into the game when All-Pro left tackle Jason Peters went down with a knee injury.  To say that King struggled with Pro-Bowler Richard Seymour would be an understatement.  King must be better this week against Washington if Peters can’t go on Monday Night.
Tyronne Green #69, is 2nd string RG for the San Diego Chargers.
Kendall Simmons #71, is injured and inactive for the Patriots with an Achilles injury he suffered last season when he was with the Steelers.

Jay has 11 tackles and one sack from his nose tackle spot this year.
Quentin Groves #54 had 3 tackles in spot duty for the Jaguars in the 23-20 OT win over the Rams.  Groves weird season is getting weirder –  the team may be trading him.
Quentin has 12 tackles and a forced fumble on the season with 2 starts.
Spencer Johnson #91, was on the field most of the second half and OT for the Bills in the 16-13 win over the Jets.  His 2 tackles bring his total for the season to 17.  He has played in every game this year and could get his first start of the season this week due to an injury to Kyle Williams.
Pat Sims #90, started his third game in a row and had 3 tackles in Cincinnati’s 28-17 loss to the Texans.
On the season Pat has started 3 games and has 18 tackles and 1 sack this year.
Sen’Derrick Marks #94, watched from the bench as the Titans’ season continues to unravel around them with an embarrassing loss to the Patriots 59-0.
For the season Marks has played in 2 games and has 1 tackle playing 3rd team for Tennessee.

Marquies Gunn was picked up by the Hamilton Tiger Cats.

Jonathan Wilhite #24, started Sunday and had 2 pass deflections in the Patriots’ 59-0 domination of the Titans.  Wilhite and the Patriots travel to London this week to take on the Bucs and apparently Jonathan forgot his camera.
Jonathan has started 3 games and played in 5 this season for the Patriots, he has 14 tackles and 3 pass deflections.
Jerraud Powers #25 was off this week. The Colts travel to St. Louis to take on the Rams Sunday.
Powers has started 4 games this season and has 22 tackles and has 3 pass deflections.

Pat Lee #22, is on IR with the Green Bay Packers.

Robert Bironas #2, did not record a stat in the 59-0 loss to New England.
For the year Rob has made 7/9 FGs (one blocked) and all his extra points.  His long for the year is 49.
Damon Duval #15, was 2/2 on field goals and 5/5 on extra points in Montreal’s 41-38 win over Hamilton.  Montreal is 13-2 on the year and has clinched home field throughout the playoffs.
Duval is the #1 kicker in Canada with 48/48 PATs and 39/47 on Field Goals for 186 points.  Damon is also the #2 Punter with a 45.4 yard season average.

On a basketball note, there is a nice story on Doc Rivers’ excitement over the signing of Marquis Daniels.
