That was the braintrust and attitude of the staff during the "season of death." Fast forward to '09: move the dam ball and kick a 49 yd field goal, and kick the air out of L. Tech with no time left on the clodk. A few too many dropped balls, but the defense held a pretty good LA Tech team in the critical third quarter as the Auburn offense piled it on (when is the last time you heard THAT phrase?).
