I think the run defense was OK in either half--even in the first half, Tech only had the one non-penalty-fueled drive, horrifically long as it was--but overall (and I'll get to this in a post later today) the linebacking was the biggest weak link on either side of the ball. But, was anyone else more than a little worried at how well La. Tech ran the ball in the first half? I am. I know that one guy was out and that other guy was coming back from surgery, but it sure seemed like a better opponent would have really gashed us.
