By the way, Jerry, one of my favorite features of the JCCW was the helpful links down the right side for both Auburn and SEC blogs. It made the JCCW the hub of my football reading time.

Just sayin'

Call me a sunny optimist or in denial, but I say we go 6-0 before running into a brick wall at LSU. Malzahn will be the toast of the town and a national sensation until then.

At 6-1 we'll still have Ole Miss, Furman, Georgia and Alabama still to play. I think we can take the Rebels. Nutt's team is talented, but I just don't buy the hype that's been spreading across the national news. Furman is a no-brainer, but we'll have a banged up team facing the Dawgs and our first break in the action before Bama (who's powderpuff non-conference schedule after Va Tech is as laughable as Florida's).

But it will be the Iron Bowl as a impossible underdog,.... meat on the table for some hungry Tigers.

Dare I say it? 10-2 and a visit to a Jan 1st bowl game. You read it here first.

P.S. Oh, and a two-game series between LSU and Florida for the SEC - with LSU winning both.

Where was our luck in '04 NC game?
Where was our luck in 1993 bowl game?
Luck or no.....anyone who has played the game knows if you play as a TEAM and execute with QUALITY.........you make you own LUCK. (if it exists at all)
CTT did not get to play for a NC in '04, and slowly gave in annually until he gave up!! We fault him for this.
CGC has much more fire in his gut than Bowden did in 1993, and it shows.
Can a team WILL itself to win, you ask. Damn right it can. And it starts with each and every coach and player.

Auburn will win the game Sat.
